As we continue to watch, wait, serve, and witness for Jesus, we must keep looking up. This peace treaty and the anticipated release of all of the hostages, living or dead, is quite a sign for the Lord’s return. People everywhere are saying ‘peace and safety’ type remarks. Even Hamas is conceding to this peace deal, or else. This could very well be the treaty that will later be confirmed by the antichrist in a post-Rapture context.
These are the last days, Israel is a key nation with the world’s focus and interest. It would seem that everything is hanging on the potential hostage release and the peace that will supposedly ensue as a result. We will see. I am very hesitant to believe that this cease fire will work. The 72-hour window (starts Friday (10/10) @ NOON) given for the IDF to withdraw from Gaza and Hamas to stand down and release all the hostages, living or dead, has begun. This is a big ask for both sides and an even bigger task for everyone involved in brokering this alleged peace deal. I am not sure peace deal will work. I believe it happens in conjunction with the Rapture.
Paul reminds us all, “But concerning the times and the seasons, brethren, you have no need that I should write to you. 2 For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night. 3 For when they say, “Peace and safety!” then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape. 4 But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief.” – 1 Thessalonians 5:1-4
- The ‘they shall not escape’ statement made by Paul here has everything to do with those who go in the Rapture (‘you’) and those who are left behind (‘they’). The key message being that when this ‘peace and safety’ talk is happening (aka peace deal), that’s when the Rapture will actually occur. Stand by!
In other news, a YouTube watcher (Christcornerstone) posted a compelling video stating that according to the Enoch calendar, 9/23,24/25 actually occurs on 10/16,17/25 (Gregorian). Another watcher confirmed this same date by going to a calendar conversion site. More dates to observe as we move forward. You can check out the vlog for yourself. It’s yet another reason why we who are looking for the Lord’s return are not giving up on this season. The brother who posted this vlog did a good job and a lot of work to get the information to us; kudos to him for his effort. If it turns out to be true, this will also exonerate brother Joshua’s original statement in giving that date.
The 2,520 day tribulation window for a 2032 Second Coming will close soon, depending on which calendar you use. If we’re still looking for a 2032 Day of Atonement Second Coming of Jesus to the earth with His Church, than the seven-year tribulation must start by October 21st (Gregorian), or by November 3rd (Julian), or by November 14th (Enochian); or there abouts. (Now you know why I titled this blog ‘More Calendar Hoopla’). The seven-year tribulation is exactly 2,520 days in length; it’s divided into two 1,260 day halves. If we believe in a pre-tribulation Rapture (and we do), than for a 2032 Second Coming to happen, we need a 2025 pre-tribulation Rapture by these dates, or there abouts.
NOTE: A lot of watchers are adding 30 days to the tribulation by misquoting Daniel 12:11. This is a bad eisegete of the text. The tribulation is exactly 2,520 days to the day! What is happening in Daniel 12:11,12 has more to do with the 75-day interval that separates the Second Coming of Jesus with the beginning of the Millennial Reign of Christ. In each dispensational change, there is always a transitional event or brief season that moves people from one dispensation to the next.
With all of the calendar hoopla going on, it’s like a moving target when it comes to knowing for sure, the actual day of the Lord’s return for His Church; which is what He told us in the first place. The Gregorian calendar was 9/23,24. The Julian calendar was 10/6,7. Now the Enochian calendar is 10/16,17. As I mentioned in my previous blog, George (Return of the King) did a great job on presenting a possible Shemini Atzeret Rapture which may occur on 10/13,14 (Gregorian). Again, with all of the calendars in play, it’s hard to tell which day is an accurate day; hence, ‘no one knows the day or hour.’
All we can do is watch and pray, hope and endure as we continue forward serving the Lord faithfully and loving those entrusted to our care. I believe that God raises up certain watchers with a skillset to produce these kinds of videos for the rest of us to watch. We must be careful not to criticize or label our brothers and sisters in Christ who are attempting to present viable perspectives on the nearness of the Lord’s return, which includes Joshua Mhlakela. I believe this brother is a genuine believer and brother in Christ. He is operating in the office of a prophet and therefore is speaking on behalf of the Lord. If he is wrong, time will prove it out, but for now (at the time of the writing of this blog), we’re still in this fight. If we’re still here after Shemini Atzeret, don’t fret, it just means that our timing isn’t matched with the Lord’s; which is a common occurrence if you’re a believer and follower of Christ. We have to trust the Lord and be good stewards of our lives as we watch and wait for the Master. Try and see all of this calendar hoopla as God’s way of telling us that He is at the door.
Something that should be obvious to all Americans, our budget has still not been passed. Our nation becomes more and more vulnerable as our government employees need to get paid as they continue to work. This is a serious matter in of itself, no matter what calendar you are using. Some say this is a tactic to remove all of the extra programs and funding that need to be gone; sort of a ‘Doge’ type of thing; we’ll see. Regardless, I still pray for all of our federal employees who need to provide for their families just like we all do. God is faithful.
A final word for those weary watchers who are as confused and perplexed with all of the calendar hoopla as the rest of us. We can clearly see that we are in the season of the Lord’s return. We may not know the actual day or hour, but we do know that the Lord is close. This is exactly where He said that we would be when He returned for us. Keep the faith, endure, and be a good steward of both the people and things entrusted to your care by the Father. This is His expectation of us as we keep our eyes on Jesus.
