Sevens

Many believers are asking God for confirmations regarding this Feast of Trumpets and the high probability that the Rapture may occur then. (9/23,24/25) They share how God is always faithful to give them a personal confirmation that the return of the Lord (aka Rapture) will occur this Feast of Trumpets. They post these confirmations on social media so that others will be encouraged; (1 Thessalonians 4:18) God is continually faithful.

As some of you know, I sometimes play an observation game while driving my school bus. I call the game, Sevens. It’s an observation discipline that I do when I am driving my routes.  The goal is to get as many ‘sevens’ on a license plate as you can.  Each letter has a number value, you can only add or subtract the letters and numbers to make a seven. If you get a ‘N’ (2×7) or a ‘U’ (3×7) you can double or triple your sevens.  You can also add or subtract your letters and numbers to land on any letter value or number divisible by 7.  The higher the number, the more sevens you can acquire.  I have gotten as high as nine 7’s on one plate.

That being said, I am not really a conformation kind of man, but for the sake of the task, I asked God to show me some kind of personal confirmation regarding this Feast of Trumpets Rapture event.  As the Lord would have it, the very next day as I was driving to church, a car passed me with the license plate TYG7700. (I will leave the state out for anonymity.)

The value of this particular license plate was 2025 777 30. The T (20) and Y (25) translate to 2025. The G translates as a 7, adding the other two 7’s is 777, the proverbial flight we take in the Rapture.  The 00 translates to 30 (15+15).  Right when I was calculating this plate’s value in my head, I was listening to a brother on YouTube talking about the Rapture.  He was sharing about how brother Joshua’s (Mhlakela) word challenged him to be more aware of the nearness of the Lord’s return. He was challenging his listeners to be open about the possibility of Christ’ coming for us this Feast of Trumpets.  At the very end of his video, just as I was reading this plate, the man said, ‘We need to be living like Jesus will be here in 30 days.’  The Sunday that I was doing this was 8/24/25, which 30 days later is 9/23/25, the first day of Rosh Hashanah.  I was blown away with that.

Just so you know, my idea of preparing to go in the Rapture is planning to stay here for a while and continue to minister while I live out my life. While I don’t like the premise of this, I do it because we don’t know when the Lord is returning, no matter who is giving the words.  If someone says that Jesus told them, then we’ll have to wait and see; if not, we’ll just live out our days to the fullest, serving Jesus, and hoping for his imminent return.  By the way, in the Assemblies of God fellowship, we believe in the doctrine of imminence, which basically says that Jesus can return at any time. However, as I have studied the seven feasts of the Lord (Leviticus 23), I am becoming more convinced that Jesus most likely will return on a future Feast of Trumpets.  While I am hopeful for a Rapture this Feast of Trumpets, I am also making plans for the Fall and even into next year; which includes paying my bills, my taxes, and making necessary repairs to my nouns. I feel that as long as I am focused forward in my life, then my witness for the Lord will improve and my faith will increase as I work and watch for His return.  This way, if the day passes, I am good to soldier on.  That being said, wouldn’t it be great if we could actually be home this Feast of Trumpets?  I know a lot of believers who will be very happy if the Rapture happens during this particular fall feast. In the same way, I know a lot who will be sad if it doesn’t happen then.

One last thing. As many of you know, I build a Sukkah in my backyard each year to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles. I have done this for years.  I am getting pretty good at making improvements to my Sukkah each year.  Last year I felt that it would be the last year I would be staying 8 nights in my Sukkah.  This year, as I was doing yard work, I was going to work in the area of my yard where my Sukkah is staged, but I felt prompted to not do any weeding or preparation like I normally do. I will reserve that work until we’re a week away from the first day of Tabernacles. I am just saying.  I want to be ready, but I also want to be relavant .

Until then, be faithful, look up, don’t set dates, and keep your eyes on Jesus, for He is the final author and finisher (perfector) of our faith. (Hebrews 12:2)
