This Could Be It!

As I ponder the news and watchman feeds on YouTube and other media sources, I am coming to believe that this Rosh Hashanah may be the one when the Master returns for His Church.  If you adhere to the Rosh Hashanah Rapture theory you understand this premise.  With all of the hoopla going on in the world and particularly in the Middle-East, I think that this particular alignment of events may finally usher in the Rapture of the Church.

I remember when I was pastoring in Gardena, CA and our church would host an annual Rosh Hashanah banquet to commemorate the possible Rapture during that feast.  It was a lot of fun and folks from other churches would join in to celebrate.  It was a lot of work and drama, but in the end, it was a benchmark of when the Lord might return for us.  I was watching then and I am really watching now.  This could be it.

America is in the fight now which means that Russia, China, Turkey, and Iran are also going to step up their game.  This could be the beginnings of WW3 folks.  I feel that even as we enter into another Rosh Hashanah season, we will be seeing an escalation of events on the nations of the world.  This will show up at the pumps, our pocket books, and our supply chain; especially as the 2/3rds of America’s ports are on strike right now.  It’s as if nations are not sure why they are fighting, but they feel that they must in order to defend their interests in the various regions of the world.  It would seem that economics are a major part of the prize here; but in the end, I believe this is a set up for the man of sin to appear on the world scene and clean up the mess that we are making.  He is the first of the four riders of the apocalypse.

This being said, we, as the body of Christ, need to be gone before that can happen.  I have always felt that the tribulation will not begin at the moment of the Rapture, but shortly thereafter.  When we leave, the restraining power of the Holy Spirit will also be removed from the earth.  While the Spirit Himself will remain, His restraining hand of protection will lift and the enemy will be free to intervene in the affairs of humanity like never before.  This will be a horrific time for those who are not caught away with the saints when the Lord returns for us.  So many people are going to be caught off guard because they weren’t ready.

As I am writing this blog, I am getting news feeds from various sources telling the story that we have read about for centuries in our Bible.  It’s coming to pass as we speak and pray.  God is moving and is about to receive His Church from the earth.  We are about to go to our eternal home and leave this world behind.  I write this to encourage you to stand fast and be ready for the Lord’s return is imminently close.

Now is not the time to lament on what you could have done or should have done in your recent past; rather, now is the time to pray, witness, and be a light to those around you who will be asking a lot of questions.  Fear and anxiety will be prevalent as more and more people begin to realize how this world is being plunged headlong into the tribulation.  Too many people are going to miss the Rapture and have to deal with the aftermath.  What’s taking place in the southeastern part of our nation is a drop in the bucket compared to what is going to happen during the tribulation.

If you’re reading this and you’re saved, then be strong and commit yourself to the Lord and His bidding for your life in these last few moments.  If you’re not saved, you need to get saved and I mean now!  A sincere prayer for forgiveness of your sin to the Lord and a genuine repentance and change of heart will set the tone as you ask Jesus into your heart to be your personal Lord and Savior.  It’s this prayer of faith to Jesus that brings His salvation to you.  What Christ did on the cross has made a way for you to be saved if you ask Him by faith and believe in Him.  Jesus is Lord and He will be your Lord if you invite Him into your life.

I want to encourage you man of God (and the ladies also), to be faithful, stand fast, and do not lose heart.  Jesus told us this would happen just before His return for us.

“Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near.”                               – Luke 21:28

We’re so close.  Please be ready, be faithful, and stay in a prayerful mind and heart set; the Lord is coming for us very soon.  We’re moments away from glory and our eternal home in heaven.  This is what we have longed for our entire Christian life.  Keep your head up brother (and sister),  this could be it.

Maranatha!
