This is the headline we are seeing and reading about in the news and on social media. It would seem that the next step in Bible prophecy is happening now as a surprise attack and a breach in the southern part of Israel where it borders the Gaza Strip has occurred. It began in the early morning hours of 10/7, the last day of Tabernacles, when enemy rockets and an infiltration of Palestinian militants bent on killing as many Jews as possible manifested in an all-out assault on God’s chosen people. While the reports as a shocking as they are graphic, the greater truth is that the God of Abraham, Issac, and Jacob keeps watch over Israel and will not allow her to be overtaken by any enemy.
Our job as believers in Jesus is to pray for Israel’s protection and for her peace. Even as the Jews go on an offensive in retaliation against this horrific attack, God is with her. This is the next step in the continuing set up for Daniel’s 70th week, the tribulation. We are about to be raptured very soon and as believers, we need to maintain a mindset of propriety when it comes to our faith in Jesus and our witness of Him to others in the last of the last days for the Church.
If I can encourage you brother (and sister), don’t be afraid or anxious about this or any of the repercussions that will come from it. We must remember that all of this has already been prophesied and will come to pass as the Lord has orchestrated it. Bible prophecy is history written in advance and we are living it out. The fact that we are alive at this time in history tells us that God chose us to be part of this part of the prophecy ride. I for one am honored and I want to do my best in serving the Master up until the day He calls me home, in the Rapture.
When I think about all of the believers who have gone before us, beginning from the 1st century AD forward, and all of the persecution and turmoil they experienced, and how God was with them then, so He is with us now. God is faithful and will continue to prompt us to do His bidding as He has established it in His divine plan. Each of us must be as faithful to our post and the people entrusted to our care as we are diligent to the calling God has placed on our lives. This is our final hour, this is our best day, this is our time to shine for Jesus and share our faith with as many who will listen; and if necessary, use words.
I want to give you the top seven Rob Lee tactical offsets that you will need to be doing (or not doing) in the coming week(s); if we’re still here.
- Pray for Israel, her peace and protection and for God to reveal Himself to her as a nation and His people.
- Evaluate yourself and you walk with Jesus. Get into the Word, prayer, and a discipline of faith each day.
- Be a good witness of the Lord to others who will listen; especially now that things are ramping up.
- Steward well your family, spouse, children, grandchildren, siblings and friends; they’re your 1st mission.
- Don’t be afraid. You’re spiritual resolve reflects your love for Jesus. Trust Him, He loves you.
- Support your local pastor, go to church, commit to a local fellowship, and encourage believers therein.
- Watch appropriate and relevant Bible prophecy videos on social media. They will encourage you.
God has called watchers to post hope in these last days for you. My favorite watchman is Tom Cote at the ‘Watchman River’ channel on YouTube. I also like Dr. Barry Awe, Bob Barber, Aaron at God a Minute, and many others. While there are many watchers out there who have been called by God to post, some of the things that they say you might disagree with. Don’t let that bother you, none of us gets it right all of the time, but we do our best as the Lord enables. Gleen what you can and move on.
Nothing beats being in God’s Word and prayer each day; these two disciplines are critical in the life of any believer. We’re almost home, do your best to be your best as we live out our faith in these last moments of the Church age. We must still plan long as we are looking short, this is a healthy part of watching.
